This was a Saurospid dinosaur of the order Ornithospida weighing about ten kilos and a length of two meters3. They inhabited the present day Antarctica Due to the mostly cold and long dark days they had to adapt to feed in the dark and had big eyes. They were herbivores and practiced a sort of social system with families led by a dominant male and female. They laid eggs in nests constructed on the ground to guard them. They had colors that assisted them in camouflaging in the dark3. As they fed they had a sentry looking out for predators in the surrounding. During the cold and dark winter they moved deeper into the forest where it was warmer. But they also faced the problem of water and had to use their beaks to get water by cracking the ice to get water. In cold environments they lived together and huddled close to keep warm with each other3.
