This giant lizard lived towards the end of the Triassic period walked on four legs. It had a wide skull accompanied by a long tail standing 2 meters high and had a length of six metres11. Had a tough skin like the crocodiles and sharp teeth it used to catch its prey with. They were very territorial with males and females' only meeting only for mating but fought for food. After winning dominance over a territory they usually marked by use of water it ejected from the body3.
